Bicyclist Arrested During Obama's Visit

A bicyclist who rode into a restricted area
shortly after President Obama arrived at a New Jersey sandwich shop
has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Edison police say 36-year-old Max Thorndburgh of Princeton
Junction was arrested around 2:10 p.m. yesterday after he allegedly
ignored a state trooper's order against entering an intersection
near the Tastee Sub Shop.

Obama was visiting the shop in the Middlesex County community to
make his latest appeal for the Senate to pass a package of measures
to aid small businesses.

Thorndburgh was released on his own recognizance after being
interviewed by state police and the Secret Service.
No telephone listing could be located for Thorndburgh.
