Health Department Surveys Residents

The Ocean County Health Department seeks public input to better coordinate and gage the demand for seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines.

Assistant Health Educator John Clayton says volunteers from the Medical Reserve Corp will be administering the survey in public areas throughout the county.

Clayton says the primary goal is to get a gage of people's perceptions about the flu and to establish a better way to influence people who typically don't receive flu shots. The survey deadline is August 19th.
